Hello, I am Rhys Spoor and I offer a hearty welcome to a forum on the artistic side of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. We are in a wonderful time when the only thing that limits our ability to replace or enhance the natural dentition is our imagination.
The intent of this forum is to share innovating and new ideas that can increase your ability to create truly lifelike dentistry that is beautiful and durable. Everything shown, I do in my practice and there are no hidden agendas. There is no financial interest or compensation in any of the products or materials I use. If ever there was, I would tell you. The forum is designed to be heavily imaged based with short descriptive text and meant to be read and understood in minutes.
I encourage comments, questions and interactivity. The whole point is to learn and grow form each other and help our patients enjoy better dental health and beautiful smiles.
Again, a hearty Welcome!

Awesome idea Rhys! Remember the song "Rhys is nice, that's what they say, Rhys is nice, throw some my way"
Thank you for throwing and sharing your artistic ideas through this blog.
Here's a cliche to share:
Let us always, all ways, remember to enhance the visible as well as the INVISIBLE aspects of a smile.
And so, Rhys,how?
Hello Omar,
The invisible aspect is the hardest to define and put a finger on. The smile is not just about the teeth or the gums. The smile is truly bigger than the sum of the parts and is also universal. You know that because of your experiences in Canada, Britain, India or Timbucktoo. I think the first place to start is to really listen to what the patient is asking for and following their lead. How they ultimately feel is more important than how they look.
Great idea Rhys. This is my first attempt at blogging. Let's see if it can be done.
So. What do you want to talk about?
Hey Knox,
If you go under the archives and click on a subject, then post comments under each section. I am also new to blogging but it's a start. What I want to do is be able to have you post pictures also but I haven't learned that far yet. I think you need to set up a blooger/google account and then you can post photos, ie cases also.
I am Panks, a prospective dental student in US, International Dentist, presently pursuing Public Health in TN, US. I saw your blog and presently planning to launch a website called www.medabroad.info related to dentistry and health sciences abroad esp in US for international Students. My idea to email is to seek permission to highlight and personify the kind of work you are doing on my upcoming website. (please visit the website)
If you are interested to be a part of my upcoming website called www.medabroad.info, then I'll be glad to work with you. This will certainly help both of us in different ways.
I wonder if that suits you.
Regards!!
Panks
